BIOGRAPHY

Tavarious DeAndre Linzer, born August 4th, 1992 in Houston Texas, is a husband, dad of 2, worship leader, business founder/owner, recording artist, singer/songwriter, instrumentalist, and music producer. Nevertheless, before any of these honors, he is a devoted follower of Jesus who loves God and people. Years before establishing a strong presence in the worship communities of many local churches, Tavarious, known as “T”, was the youngster who grew up in South Houston Texas where his love for music and entertainment was discovered. Being a part of a musical family heavily steeped in gospel quartet music had a huge impact on his life. Throughout his childhood and most of his teenage years, he sang in talent shows, special events, and sometimes even nightclubs. (Don’t ask how he got into those nightclubs. Lol)

Tavarious developed the ability to play drums, his first instrument, at the tender age of two years old. He would later go on to learn (by ear) how to play the guitar, bass guitar, piano, and even the accordion due to his love and involvement with Creole’ zydeco music. Being raised in such a multicultural city like Houston helped shape and influence Tavarious’ love for different musical styles and expressions; often time in different languages. Some would call him an “old soul” as he grew up listening to and performing music from eras well before his time. He would emulate the sounds and dance moves of musical greats such as Sam Cooke, Michael Jackson, James Brown, Prince, and many others. All the way to artists from his era like Chris Brown, John Mayer, and various Hip Hop artists. Much has changed since those days nevertheless Tavarious, even today, has a strong love and appreciation for the many different sounds that have influenced him and his own music.

Combining his love for music and his passion for carrying out the presence of God, Tavarious has dedicated the past 13 years of his life to leading worship in a way that challenges yet inspires others to know and experience Christ for the first time, or more deeply and authentically than ever before. Transcending genre, generational, and cultural barriers, Tavarious is committed to leading and developing John 4:23-24 worshippers; where Jesus reminds us of the kind of worship the Father seeks. “Worship, in any form, begins with one's willingness to step out of themselves and truly engage with the creator.” -Tavarious Linzer

Tavarious has managed to create music that makes you dance, cry, and smile; perhaps even simultaneously. “I believe that music is the heartbeat of the world. It transcends mere lyrics, notes, and sounds but collectively, it should profoundly move one's heart. I believe its highest purpose is to carry out the presence of God”- Tavarious Linzer. Tavarious’ desire is for his music and ministry to paint a picture of how Jesus is a personal God. Of how this great big and majestic being who created the universe, the stars, and everything in existence is also an intimate God who knows us and loves us. The sound may change to fit the method, but the message will forever remain the same; the gospel of Jesus Christ.
